We are the Deans Senior Tea Club
Our aim is to combat loneliness in older age whilst having a jolly good time.
We run social clubs for seniors across venues in East Sussex. Our clubs are FREE to attend, so please just turn up or call to enquire.
Sadly the venues we hire are not yet ready to re-open, once they are - we shall risk assess and put in place the necessary procedures and hopefully re open!
Our NEW charity shop will be opening soon!
In the mean time, we will be selling goods online on Facebook to raise much needed funds to cover our overheads during these tricky times...
Here at the club...
A jolly good laugh with friends
Arts & crafts, cups of tea and socialising
We arrange trips, entertainment, arts & crafts, quizzes and games for seniors.
It's your club, so we try and organise any activities you are interested in...from belly dancers to historical talks.
We welcome residents from care homes and their carers, seniors and their family, to pop down for a cup of tea and a slice of cake -we love cake!
Dancing and entertainment

A huge thank you to Rupert, Paula and the team at Hello Flamingo (www.helloflamingo.co.uk) for our stunning shop window display!
People came from far and wide to see the beautiful display...
it was the talk of the town!
Also a huge thank you to Asda Superstore, Brighton Marina for your generous donation of £300, £100 gift voucher from Sainsburys (Newhaven) and the donations from local residents and one of our very own members... this goes towards the £10,000 we need towards set-up and running costs.
It’s official... We are now a fully Registered CIO charity (no. 1191298)!!!
Thank you to all those that helped me with the advice, guidance and voluntary administrative contribution!
We are super excited for the future ahead.
We are happy to be opening a charity shop in Rottingdean... watch this space! We are currently seeking donations to pay for the shop and it’s set up and running costs.
We are also seeking donations of items to sell in the shop... please get in touch if any of the above are things you can help us with.
Also thank you to all of those individuals and businesses for their generous donations and time making hand made masks for the hampers. Every member will receive a hamper of goodies, if you havent already done so.
